We fully understand there is a SEVERE difference between protected speech versus hate speech versus free speech. We have no intention to incite anyone to storm a capitol building (obviously, any speech that incites violence under the premise to push false or lying agenda should be a criminal offense). Unfortunately, in our system of government, parties attempting to control the population will refuse to hold accountable any political figure with some following or characteristic that promotes their agenda (this has never been more apparent, than the first lame duck Republican controlled Congress in history). However, true free speech is supposed to encourage debate, respect alternative opinions, and encourage growth of wisdom, intelligence and understanding. This is why Freedom of the Press, Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Assembly are in the FIRST AMENDMENT to the Constitution. They are rights of people, not rights of government to limit.
However, as of this administration, for the second time in history (you should really know about the first time, but it parallels what is happening today. Do yourself a favor and educate yourself about the First American Coup attempt) the corruption of money and abuse by wealthy people strive to control the democracy every citizen in this country is entitled to; regardless of color, creed, economic status, sex, life preference or other factors the US Constituion should be amended to protect. Trump’s MAGA (more aptly than his rendition of it; Misguided Affluent Greedy Americans) utilizing the power of money to attempt to control the governing forces of the country (both Trump and Musk said they would throw ridiculous amounts of money at alternative candidates of any Republic that did not agree with them, Thank you Citizens United). This is no less than treason, but there is a whole other page for that as well as how the Supreme Court via Citizen’s United set this country on a path of diminishing citizens rights and creating a excepted class of wealth that resembles other destructive forms of autocracies, which have NO place in the United States of America.
